Coforge has expanded its long-standing strategic partnership with Pegasystems, giving the Indian IT services company broader commercial rights to build, package, brand and sell Pega-powered enterprise solutions. The companies announced the expansion on August 28, 2026, describing it as a new stage in a relationship that has lasted for roughly two decades.
The expanded agreement allows Coforge to move beyond its traditional role as a Pega implementation and services partner. Under the new arrangement, Coforge can develop Pega-powered offerings and bring them to customers under the Coforge brand, combining Pega’s technology with Coforge’s consulting, engineering, implementation and managed services capabilities.
The companies are positioning the expanded partnership around enterprise transformation and artificial intelligence, with particular attention to insurance, travel, transportation and financial services. Coforge said the broader commercial rights will support the development of repeatable, IP-backed industry offerings rather than relying only on individual implementation projects.
John Speight, President and EU Geo Business Leader at Coforge, said the company is moving from reselling software toward delivering full-stack, Pega-powered industry solutions under the Coforge brand. The arrangement is intended to bring technology and services together in a more integrated offering for enterprise customers.
Pega provides technologies for enterprise workflow, customer engagement and AI-driven decisioning, while Coforge contributes its industry expertise and professional services capabilities. The companies said the combined approach is intended to help customers reduce execution complexity, accelerate deployments and shorten the time required to put transformation programs into operation.
One of the technologies highlighted in connection with the partnership is Pega Blueprint, which is being used in legacy modernization work. Pega describes Blueprint as a tool that helps organizations capture existing business processes and turn that information into modernization blueprints. Coforge has incorporated the technology into its own modernization services alongside its CodeInsightAI capabilities.
Coforge has already built a substantial Pega practice. On its Pega partnership page, the company describes itself as a Pega Global Elite Partner and says its practice includes more than 1,000 Pega consultants, more than 200 Pega Certified Decision Consultants, more than 145 Pega Certified Senior System Architects and 100 Pega Lead System Architects. It also lists 16 AI-driven solution accelerators and more than 350 Pega implementations.
Coforge’s public materials also state that it has been a Pega partner for more than 18 years. Elsewhere, the company has cited different figures for parts of its Pega organization, including more than 115 Pega Lead System Architects and more than 2,000 Pega certifications in a June 2026 announcement. The different figures appear in separate company materials and should therefore not be treated as a single consolidated headcount.
The expanded agreement follows several recent examples of Coforge’s work with Pega. In June 2026, Coforge said it won a Pega Industry Excellence Award for a government and public-sector transformation project involving a Scotland-based national telehealth service provider. The project used Pega Customer Service and Pega Infinity with Constellation architecture and was developed with Pega and Amazon Web Services.
Coforge said that implementation replaced fragmented legacy systems with a unified platform integrating telephony, digital channels and case management. The company said the platform supports round-the-clock operations and handles millions of interactions.
The partnership is also tied to Coforge’s work around Pega Constellation, a modern architecture associated with Pega Infinity. Coforge markets services for migrating existing implementations to the platform and positions its engineering and modernization capabilities as part of the broader Pega offering.
The commercial expansion comes as Coforge increases its focus on artificial intelligence across its business. The company launched Nuuron in July 2026, describing it as an AI operating system for the autonomous enterprise, and also introduced Momentuum AI, an operating unit focused on enterprise AI delivery. Earlier in the year, Coforge launched Nexa Agentic AI for insurance operations and Aeronova.AI for airline retailing.
The Pega agreement therefore adds another enterprise software platform to a broader set of AI and industry initiatives already being developed by Coforge. The company has not, however, disclosed how much additional revenue it expects from the expanded Pega arrangement.
No contract value, minimum revenue commitment or guaranteed financial contribution was included in the announcement. The companies also did not disclose specific customers, pricing arrangements or the number of new offerings expected to be introduced under the expanded agreement.
The announcement followed Coforge’s first-quarter financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026. The company reported revenue of INR 55.277 billion, equivalent to $592.2 million, representing 49% year-over-year growth in Indian rupee terms. EBITDA rose 74% year over year to INR 11.233 billion, while EBIT increased 101% to INR 8.822 billion. Profit after tax reached INR 5.186 billion, up 110% year over year. Coforge also reported a next-12-month signed order book of $2.23 billion, which was 44% higher than a year earlier. These figures cover Coforge’s overall business and were not presented as results from the Pega partnership.
Shares of Coforge rose after the announcement. Market coverage reported the stock reaching ₹1,983.40 during the session, while later reports placed the price near ₹1,998.90, a reported 52-week high. The move in the share price is separate from the terms of the partnership, for which Coforge and Pega have not published a financial value.
