PR Newswire has expanded its AEO & GEO Brand Report to the Asia-Pacific region, giving customers using its Amplify platform access to data on how artificial intelligence systems mention and describe their organizations.
The September 28, 2026 rollout is a regional expansion rather than the first release of the report. PR Newswire introduced the AEO & GEO Brand Report in April 2026 and expanded it to Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa in July. The latest move extends availability to APAC alongside the broader Amplify platform, which PR Newswire launched in the region in June.
The report is designed around three areas of AI visibility. The Mentions section tracks measures such as share of voice, ranking position and visibility trends. Sources identifies the domains and URLs referenced in AI-generated answers, while Answers provides the responses generated about an organization so users can examine how the brand is being represented.
That distinction separates the report from conventional PR reporting. PR Newswire’s existing reporting tools can measure traffic arriving from large language model and AI sources, but the AEO & GEO report is focused on the brand’s presence inside AI-generated answers themselves. A company can receive visibility in an AI answer without necessarily receiving a corresponding website visit.
The capability is powered by Trajaan, the search-intelligence company acquired by PR Newswire parent Cision in December 2025. Cision has since integrated Trajaan’s technology into several products covering traditional search, social and generative AI. In a separate CisionOne announcement in July, the company identified nine AI and search environments covered by its AI Visibility Dashboard, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode and Mistral. Cision has not established in the public PR Newswire materials that the Amplify AEO & GEO report exposes exactly the same nine-model set.
PR Newswire’s reporting places particular emphasis on the sources influencing AI answers. The report can show which websites are repeatedly cited when AI systems respond to questions about a brand, giving communications teams visibility into information that may come from publishers, industry websites and other third-party sources rather than from the company’s own channels.
The company also positions the report as part of a larger workflow inside Amplify. The platform combines campaign planning, content creation, distribution and reporting, with the AEO & GEO data intended to show how brands appear within AI-driven search and answer experiences.
PR Newswire has argued that press releases can provide authoritative, timestamped information for AI systems and that communicators can use distribution and content strategy to strengthen the information available about an organization. Those statements are part of the company’s product positioning; the public launch materials do not provide an independently audited study showing that distribution through PR Newswire causes AI systems to prioritize those releases.
The available product documentation also does not publish a complete methodology for the AEO & GEO Brand Report. Public materials describe the report’s outputs but do not specify details such as the full prompt-generation process, sampling volume, weighting of visibility measures, geographic and language sampling, or how model changes and conflicting AI responses are normalized.
PR Newswire presents the report as a tool for identifying gaps in AI visibility and examining how an organization is described when users ask AI systems about it. The company offers the capability through its Amplify reporting environment rather than listing a standalone public price on its product pages.
